Amber Carpenter

Amber Carpenter is Senior Legal Counsel, Brand at Ferrara Candy Company, where she advises on intellectual property, marketing, and food law matters. Prior to joining Ferrara, she practiced as an Associate Attorney at Chicago law firms, with a focus on IP litigation, trademark portfolio management, and patent and trademark prosecution. In 2025, her team was recognized as Food & Beverage Team of the Year by World Trademark Review, and in 2024, Amber was named to Modern Counsel’s 35 Under 35 for her leadership in the in-house legal field. She is also deeply committed to community service and currently serves on the boards of the Greater Chicago Legal Clinic, the Black Women Lawyers’ Association of Greater Chicago Board, the Diverse Attorney Pipeline Program, and the Grant Park Music Festival.
